Rhonda Tallo Faraone and Mary McCahey Mancini have been friends since childhood.


As young girls, they grew to love makeup and all beauty products. As adults, they each wanted to create a line of products and launch their own business. Once they renewed their friendship via Facebook and discovered they still shared the same passion for beauty products, they realized they could achieve their dream together. With the support of their husbands, Steve and Mike, and their children, PUR was born. 

PUR will launch its boutique line of naturally driven products, within the next few months. As the company grows, Rhonda and Mary envision the fan and customer base participating in many aspects of the business. This will include: ingredient options, product menus, packaging and design. The brand will evolve with input from its customers. As consumers of literally thousands of beauty products, and never having input into what they were purchasing, they feel that their concept of inviting the consumer to partake in product creation, will provide women (and eventually men and teens) with what has been missing in the beauty industry all along.

The Pur FB page will introduce products and ideas, as well as provide tips on everything from skin, makeup, hair, nails, health and wellness. Pur is launching on FB because Rhonda and Mary believe it brought them together to realize the dream they had as childhood friends.
